This is a group for non-beginners, who have learned some basic French before.

A1.4 - Beginner 4

This is a group for non-beginners, who have learned some French before. In particular, students will need to know how to use reflexive verbs before joining this level.

A2+

This is a level for students who are somewhat comfortable using both the présent, passé composé, imparfait and future tenses. Although students are not necessarily familiar with the subjunctive and conditional moods, they should at least have some knowledge of the imperative mood and they should know some basics about using the conditional mood in a limited range of expressions to ask for something in a formal/polite manner.

A2.1 - Advanced Beginner 1

This is a level for students who are perfectly comfortable using the present tense already and who know some basics regarding the passé composé tense.

A2.2 - Advanced Beginner 2

This is a level for students who are somewhat comfortable using the passé composé tense and who are ready to move on and learn the imparfait tense, in order to speak about the past in various ways.

B1.2 - Intermediate 2

The B1 levels are the levels when students will learn to express their wishes, emotions, dreams and aspirations using more detailed nuances. This is also when students will learn to become familiar with the conditional and subjunctive moods.

B2.1 - Advanced level 1

By the end of the B2 level series, students should feel comfortable enough to consider spending a significant amount of time living in a French-speaking country. While not fully fluent in French, a B2 level speaker should be able to face most common interactions in French without strain for either them or the native speakers interacting with them.
